Vredestein

Vredestein tires have a rich history dating back to 1908. Over the decades, they have become recognized as a premium European brand with a focus on quality and design. Vredestein is based in Holland, and like many tire companies got its start producing a wide variety of rubber products including tennis balls, floor coverings, mattresses, heels for shoes, etc. The company shifted its focus exclusively to high-end premium tires in the 1970s. Vredestein tires teamed up with world-famous Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro in 1999. Giugiaro is renowned for designing the Volkswagen Golf I, BMW M1, Maserati 3200 GT and Alfa Romeo Brera. The world auto press nominated Giugiaro as the designer of the century in 1999. Giugiaro’s designs have made Vredestein tires very aesthetic in addition to highly functional in a performance sense. Vredestein tires have become a symbol of discriminating taste with compromising performance. Vredestein was acquired by Apollo Tyres (a global tire manufacturer) in 2009 and was renamed Apollo Vredestein B.V.

Vredestein produces a range of all season tires (Quatrac 3, Quatrac Lite, Quatrac 3), Light Truck/SUV Tires (Comtrac, Ultrac Sessanta SUV), summer tires (Hi-Trac, Sportrac 5) and winter tires (Wintrac 4 Xtreme, Snowtrac, Nordtrac Xtreme).
